Beacon Hill’s Chiliad Rhapsody is an up-and-coming herdsire with enormous potential. This two-year-old silver–gray appaloosa (with vivid black and brown spots) has more than lived up to our most optimistic expectations. His sire, our supremely beautiful Full Chilean Appaloosa, RLL Millennium is the brother to the Burgess’s Granola, and son of the Great Chilean RAR Black Jade by a Chilean Canoso daughter. Rhapsody’s mother (Mor’s Frangelica Funnicello) is one of the rare silver and gray appaloosas out of Long’s High Five. The combination of these two has been truly outstanding. Rhapsody recently took first place among heavy wool, 2 year-old males at the ALSA April Magic show. He is a gentle and loving male who will give your breeding program a boost with his rare color and unique genetics. His father, Millennium, who has vivid color and fiber with curly, lock-structure, produced the LANA Supreme Grand Champion (and April Magic Supreme Grand Champion), Mor’s Sugar Daddy (2003). One of Rhapsody’s brothers, Beacon Hill’s Chiliad Crescendo, just took First Place at the ALSA show in Indio (Medium wool). Millennium has produced a high frequency of beautiful appaloosa, show-quality offspring, some with the silky wet-looking fiber typical of suris, and we have every reason to believe Rhapsody, with his silky, curly fiber, will follow.
